Name: Annie Hodges
School/year in school/age: Eisenhower, junior, 16
Activities/Hobbies/Clubs: RSVP, Interact, leadership, tennis and MySpace.
Favorite food: I can’t get enough of spaghetti; it brings out my non-existent Italian roots!
Favorite movies: “The Dark Knight” and the “Harry Potter” flicks.
Favorite writers: Mitch Albom, John Howard Griffin, William Golding and Toni Morrison.
Favorite music: I love Death Cab for Cutie, M.I.A., Arctic Monkeys, The Decemberists, 50 Cent and Saul Williams.
What is your most treasured possession? I can never throw away photos, no matter how old and unattractive they happen to be. I just love to keep them around.
What’s your favorite place to go in your hometown? Unfortunately, Yakima isn’t a city in which you can claim it “never sleeps,” but I always have a great time at Franklin Park because there is always someone you know there.
Which person do you most admire and why? I admire my dad, Todd, the most. He is a very strong man and is always there for my family. I hope to someday be as sweet and thoughtful as he is.
What would you do with $1 million? As cliché as this sounds, I think I would donate most to charity.
Three words to describe yourself: Compassionate, humorous, free-spirited.
What is your greatest achievement? Being a vegetarian for nearly the past two years.
Worst fear: Failure.
Greatest wish: I hope to someday be successful and have a family of my own.
When and where were you the happiest? This question is tricky. Well, I would have to say that when I’m with my good friends I can be anywhere and be my happiest.
Where and how do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself finishing up school and starting a career. But I have no idea where that will take me.
