The Washington Apple Education Foundation is offering some new scholarships this year.
The new scholarships were started by Tieton’s CPC Apple Company and Olson’s Honey of Yakima. Stemlit Growers, Inc. also added another scholarship to those it already gives through the WAEF.
In all, the foundation will provide about $225,000 in student aid this year.
The WAEF Universal Scholarship application deadline is March 1. The application — complete with descriptions of all available awards — is available at www.waef.org.
For more information, go to the Web site or call the foundation at 663-7713.
