<description>My son has been a fire fighter for 15 plus years and I can tell you, they do a wonderful job. They are a very close knit group and very professional. When an emergency occures, they are fast to respond. My son tells me that one of the pleasures of being a fire fighter, is talking to young people and educating them about the dangers of fire. As a first responder, you never know just what will be expected of you, but you do your job and feel good when you can be of service to others. When you see a fireman, thank him for being there to serve the community and being willing to put their own lives at risk to save others.
Thank you for this very timely article.
